Project outline
The new 4,600m² laboratory facility provides research facilities for over 100 research staff in Molecular Vascular Medicine, Molecular Epidemiology and Biological Sciences.
LIGHT aims to integrate key components of Medicine and Biological Sciences to deliver ‘gene-to-therapy’ translation research located under one roof.
Built on existing land within the University campus the building adjoins the Leeds General Infirmary and an energy-generation complex.
Following the successful design development of this project we have undertaken further feasibility studies for the University for laboratory refurbishment projects. We are now appointed to the Universities Consultancy Framework for Building Services and Structural Engineering.
