We provide a comprehensive engineering design service for sports and leisure facilities. Our core expertise in structural and building services is supported by a wide range of specialist disciplines including transportation planning, acoustics, fire engineering, environmental, lighting, security and IT.

Our extensive portfolio includes all types of projects, from small community leisure facilities through to world class and Olympic standard venues, multi-screen cinema complexes through to galleries and exhibition facilities for the Crown Jewels and fine art collections.

We challenge and develop the design brief to provide exciting, flexible, energy-efficient solutions that match the client’s aspirations and budgets.

We have worked for most of the UK’s major owner/operators including Sport England, the British Museum, the Olympic Delivery Authority, Earls Court and Live Nation as well as numerous local authorities, school and university estates departments and private developers.

Now that sport and leisure facilities feature as an integral part of many mixed use developments, our client list also includes major commercial developers such as Land Securities, Argent, Development Securities and the Crown Estate as well as smaller independent developers.

We understand operational issues and the importance of build quality, flexibility and future-proofing whilst achieving high standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.

With a highly experienced team of consultants and specialists, we can offer all aspects of engineering assistance to meet all circumstances. We thrive in a team environment, working closely with architects and developers to deliver outstanding projects. The success of this approach means that many of our commissions derive from repeat orders or direct referrals.

We have sophisticated engineering and modelling tools available which allow us to evaluate options rapidly, design out potential problems and identify alternative solutions to facilitate the decision-making process at the early stages of projects. In detailed design, we use 3D modelling to identify and resolve potential clashes and to explore ‘buildability’ on the computer rather than on site, saving the client time and money.
