BREEAM 2002 for Offices

BREEAM 2002 for Offices is split into three modules - core issues, design and procurement, and management and operation. New offices are assessed at the design stage and use the core and design modules. Existing offices use core and operation modules. Buildings are awarded a Pass, Good, Very Good or Excellent rating.

Since the scheme launch in 2002, Faber Maunsell's Sustainable Development Group have certified more than 300,000m² of net office space. A further 500,000m² is in the process of assessment.

Faber Maunsell's Sustainable Development Group assess approximately 45 offices per year under the design and procurement scheme alone. To meet this demand we have eight fully trained assessors, to ensure that there is always an assessor available, no matter how fast track the building programme.
